    good alternative to plastidip in some time consuming spots. Just some inlay stickers. i like how it turned out.

    Well thanks to this thread finally did it. Used 6 .5 cans (I wanted to have last coat more of a fresh mist then end of can spurts) black. And peeling off the excess was fun. It took a lot of time, especially prep. But in the end it cost me 7 cans Plasti Dip, 1 roll of painters tape, free ads from harbor freight, and my time for a total of $47 in product. Overall happy with results and now time to see how it holds up. Did the fender flares and front bumper cover on my Sport edition20171230_170807.jpg 20171230_182224.jpg .

    Looks great man! Let us know how it holds up through washes. I’ve got a black TRD sport. And I’ve always liked the contrast of the OR. Could be something I’d give a shot.

    derped the badges, fender flares, and grille bezel. I'll get to the rear bumper eventually.. used one can per flare and one can on the badges and grille.

    Not wanting to read all 77 pages here, but has anyone plastidiped the grill/bezel on a 2017 TRD OR in place, without removing it?

    I didn't remove my grille. I taped it all off, and slid some cardboard in the space between the grille and the radiator.

    Waiting to see a dipped '18 TRDOR grill, even though they're black already.
    Also, has anyone tried derping their sliders? Seems like it'd be an easy touch up if needed.

    I used rustoleum bed liner rattle can spray on my sliders, it holds up well. As far as plastidip goes its not durable enough to withstand me stepping on my sliders, let alone slide on any type of terrain.... it would just peel off in no time.
