It's less Tacoma and more mod
That might be giving them too much credit.

Local starter alternator repair shop had the starter contacts and plunger units stock. $15 buck later, starts like new. :bananadance: Worst part was getting the damn tranny dip stick tube bolt in :censored:.

Took three goddamn days to do my upper ball joints. Next time I'm buying a hydraulic press, seriously. What a pain in the absolute ass.

That being said, it's done. Thank God. In the process of being clamped I disfigured the dust shield beyond recognition so I hammered back into something that resembled a semi circle and sanded + painted it with POR15 just because I can't stand having an ugly dust shield.

I forgot to take pictures of it when I painted it. Once it's dry I'll update.

I was about to use Bondo on it to make it pretty then I stopped and thought to myself why the hell am I doing body work on a goddamn brake dust shield and dropped that idea so fast.

    It's a 4 banger - otherwise I'm sure it'd be another 5g's

That’s funny, I’m finishing my Masters in Teaching this spring. Just gotta get through student teaching and the edTPA. What’s your credential in? I’ll be General science/HS Biology.

Then I can have a backup Tacoma in case my main Tacoma breaks down. Foolproof plan.
