New hammer on right. "Old" hammer on left after <500 rounds. Old hammer also has a crack on the back side where the disconnect hooks.

The damage to the face is common, CZ says it is normal wear. The round dent at the top is from the pin, the checking below that is from the bolt. I put a radius on the edge of my bolt so it operates smoother.
The crack on the back is not normal.

Yep. I sent them pictures, they had me fill out the warranty page (about 30 seconds), then they sent out a new one. Thankfully I got it done before they suspended operation for their year end training/inventory or whatever they are doing.

Well......somehow...in my 28+ years of gun ownership and shooting enjoyment I failed to ever shoot a CZ75.

    Not sure how this happened.

    Not sure why this happened.

Much of my semi-auto hand gunning has been with 1911's, Glocks and Sigs.

I finally got around to correcting for this CZ deficit this year.

I bought a new CZ-75 and I have to say that it's one smooth shooting pistola. Didn't take me long to want a holster for it to carry it. A couple range sessions was all it took. Smooth trigger, excellent ergonomics and flawless function thus far.

I did swap out the factory grips fairly quickly. I really like VZ's on the guns I've put them on.

For a holster I wanted something that would work IWB or OWB. I went with one from Simply Rugged. I've used their leather for other guns and have been very impressed with how well they fit and function over the years.

One of the range sessions with some buddies found it the most requested handgun in the group. Everyone loved the feel, handling and accuracy of the gun....the hombre that convinced me to buy just grinned and said, "I told you so".

    Thanks.

I'm a big fan of VZ grips.

Have them on three 1911's and also on a little J-frame Airweight.
