41NVTDPV09L__SX425_.jpg I bought these switches from Amazon, it says Toyota Tacoma ditch lights . does anyone else have these installed? I tried to put them in the switch blank location under the climate control and they will not even come close to going in, they are too damn big .

    Pic of actual switch?
Did you check fitment before buying?
No I have never bought those. I have direct fitment switches.

There are 2 sizes. Long and skinny or short and fat. These fit perfectly into the long skinny blank that was on the left side of the dash below the open cubby

The switch blanks to the LEFT of the steering wheel are bigger than the ones under the climate controls. You need different sized switches depending on which location you want to place them.

Sounds like the switch you bought is for the left side.

Does anyone have actual measurements for the (evidently) two switch sizes? This info would be beneficial to folks.

ok , I don't think I have an open space there, I have the trd offroad. I think the only available spaces are below the climate control

Not for the one you want. I have a TRD Offroad and there was one blank on the left next to the switch to open the back sliding window. I can send pics if you want but that would involve going outside and it's cold

Op, Google CH4X4 and you can get the switches that go under the climate control knobs directly from them. The switches from them that are sold on Amazon are for the left of the steering wheel on '12-'15 per the description on Amazon.
