Looking for a little assistance when it comes to purchasing after market rims. I went to CarId since I purchase some other stuff with them when I had my Jeep. I was looking into rims (after I enter the specs of my truck) and these popped up and I was very interested. After purchasing them, I received an email (also attached) stating that they may not fit over the calipers. The wheels do have a smaller back space. And the offset is -6 instead of the stock offset which if I remember correctly is +35? I could be wrong, but regardless. Anyone have any suggestions? Should I listen to the gentleman, cancel the order and go another route, or does anyone have these rims already and tell me they fit? Or suggest I take the chance and see if they fit. Only stressed cause there’s no returns. Though I don’t think I would have a problem selling them, I would rather not do that. With a 4.25" BS, you should be fine. It sounds to me like they're trying to pull a fast one and upsell you.

Backspace is not related to caliper clearance, it is not measured off the caliper. The spoke geometry is the concern. Our calipers are harder to clear than on most other vehicles, so even though a lot of aftermarket wheels match for backspace and bolt pattern, the spokes may still butt against your caliper. This is why a lot of Chevy rims need spacers for us to run them.

I had tried to use the Pro Comp Series 97's and had issues with caliper clearance I ended up getting the 87 series and had no issues with them.

It is interesting because some have said they are using the 97's with no issue but it did not work for mine.

Make sure you find someone with the same wheels installed on here before you continue with the order. There are not that many aftermarket 16" wheels that fit these trucks and if they do there is minimal clearance. I have 16" American Racing Mojave 16x8 4.5bs and 0 offset.
