I got lucky on this one in Anza Borrego - no filter, taken on my iPhone 5SE, that is now considered so small people laugh..

 

Does your partner know you're telling everyone you got lucky?

He's still at it. Came up in a recent post on a FB group (Off Road, Overland Expedition and Camping 4wd Vehicles). Pocketed funds for a bumper from someone. Someone dug up his address...not sure where it went from there.

Man, every time I go to DV I get the dullest sunsets/sunrises. You seem to time it nicely again and again

 

I was thinking the same thing! Those skies are amazing. Great composition and color!

 

Well I see a lot of dull ones too! A lot of my photos though aren't actually super wide angle so they are often catching the small part of the sky that does manage to get some color. This case though the whole sky did go crazy and it was quite a show.

 

I'm assuming you put the kayaks on the cab rack? How do you like that setup? How high above the bed rails in the tent mounted? And how much clearance is there between the kayaks and the packed away tent?

I have idiot neighbors like that too. I test my hammock gear or seam seal a tent and I get the crap. I ignore them. My wife and I are best friends, a lot better friends than they are, f-em.
