any of you CA guys hear anything about the new Ammo Law?

    I'll start looking into this because this ammo issue might start a trend with other states.

    They can also use this new system to limit ammo purchases to only guns you have registered in your name. Doesn't sound like much, but example:
    My wife has a 9mm and a 7mm-08 registered in her name. If we are getting ready to go hunting, she couldn't buy me my .308 or 7mm rem mag ammo. Or if I'm taking my nephew hunting, I couldn't buy his .243 ammo because I don't have a .243 = pain in the ass and unnecessary.

    Don't think that will happen? I'm pretty sure there are already local ordinances around Sac that already do that... or are in the process of doing it. (not sure if it's already being done or not)

    But that WILL happen in less than 5 years State wide.

    I have to respectfully disagree that it's not a big deal... just like the Firearms Safety Cert is a big deal IMHO.
