Me and my 74 y/o seasonal and his 74 y/o wife who volunteers. Other than drilling between the blocks, drilling the 3/16" straps, and welding, the rest was hydraulics.

 

Evening all, busy day, busy night

 

Good evening
Slow night at work. Alot of people have vacation. That's good for me. Get caught up on odd stuff.

 

New pet?

 

Just a wet stain on the roof now. Used to keep some in a terrarium and feed them spiders. Was cool to watch.

 

Usually got Friday off but got a couple things to do.

 

Snowplows kill the vehicle they are on.

 

Damn. Looks like we got a 2 day freeze coming.

 

I think I told you before I know Steve.

 

Looks more like a 3 day freeze. Need to get some heat tapes at HD before they sell out. Not looking forward to this. And get firewood stacked at back door.

Plumbing isn’t usually designed for temps like that here. I’ll have to wrap , insulate and run the water so well won’t freeze.

 

That is the lowest I’ve ever seen it here.
The inside is higher than normal cause I have it in a different spot right now.
To close to the rad. But trying to clean up from Christmas.

 

Yea I was thinking of everyone with wells around here. All my pipes are inside so I’m lucky. The only outside one has a inside shut off.

 

A lot of my relatives in Virginia have their well under house or in basement.

 

Where did you wake up Florida it is 74 degrees man ! Lol Weirdly went to bed it was +7 get up it is +12. Stay warm bud .

Idk looks more like a 5 day freeze. Low 20s for a couple days straight and then highs slowly into 40. Some things may stay frozen if it won’t warm up fast enough.

 

That is where mine is , folks with outside well houses put light bulbs or a small utility heater in it on a thermostat . Same as I do for the RV . Curious you are getting heat tape now ? That is going to suck putting on in the cold can you do a small electric utility heater under the house for now ?
