Did a ton of research and even found myself second guessing my tire size. Did not want to modify an already great and brand new truck. Went with 265/75/16s.

Could not be happier with this tire. Stock like drivability but quite a bit more beefy/aggressive.

Here are some shots from all angles (stock suspension), for the people on the fence.

I’m going to be putting a 3” Rough Country suspension lift on my 2015 SR5 V6. I plan on keeping the stock Toyota 16” rims and I’m torn between upgrading from 245/75/16 to either 285s or 265s. The 265s on this thread look really good. I’m just wondering if anyone knows with certainty if I’ll be able to pull off the 285s with the 3” lift without having to trim? I’d definitely prefer 285s, but I definitely don’t want to have to trim or add fender flares. After looking at this thread I’ll settle for 265s if I have to, I’m just wondering if anyone knows if the 285s will work without trimming, removing mud flaps, etc...

Thoughts on 265/75/16 with a lift? I have 255/85/16's right now and they are great for off-roading but I have been doing a lot of highway driving and thinking of down sizing. Big thing I am worried about is if it will look funny with the smaller tires. What are your thoughts?

Depends on your lift. How high are you?

Ive got 2.5" up front, 2" in the rear with the 265's. Since you're .5" lower, I bet they'd look fine. I wish mine were a hair bigger, but I'm really happy with the size overall. I just didn't want to kill mpg. If you do switch, I'd make sure you check the weight of your current tires, and make sure the new ones are light enough to make it worthwhile.

Good point. My current ones are about 60lbs so hopefully dropping down a size should save me about 50lbs overall.
