    Hi. So I've had my 2016 TRD Sport for about a year now and I love it. I purchased it used after someone couldn't afford the lease payments. Anyway, this one part in the bed has some paint scratched off from something so wondering what it's called. Would this be easy to change? I do my own oil changes and recently installed my own aftermarket exhaust so I do have basic wrench turning knowledge. Thank you.

    I don't think you guys are on the same page here.

    The original picture provided by the OP looks to be the cap part of the cab side of the bed. And the same part that @ExtraHardTaco posted a replacement part for.

    The part suggested for $50 at Amazon is the tie down rail part that is not a factory installed item for the Gen 3 trucks, like it was for the Gen 2 trucks.
    We only got the rail parts for the sides of the bed.

    Just saying!

    I think your best bet is asking the dealer about the part and getting their part number. Neither of the links posted look like the part you are wanting to replace.

    OEM cleat rail goes under the one that OP pictured in first post. if he orders the Amazon part he is not getting what he wants.

    I just used a couple quick fists with a DIY mounting bracket I made from parts from the hardware store.

    That's my bad - whoops!
