    I'm putting spacers on...eventually...
I say eventually because the short wheel lugs on my truck only go about two thirds of the way into the lug nuts that hold the spacer in place on the hub.
All of the pieces parts are correct-spacer size, etc. It's just them short-a** lugs nuts.
I know they're 12mm 1.50, but none of the places I've contacted knows what the knurl diameter is.
I need them at least 2" long to fill all the threads in the lug nuts.
    Any ideas?

Get some extended thread lug nuts. The thread extend into the wheels. Got these from Stealth Custom Series website...

Yes. I am doing the same thing right now to fit my steelies and spacers. You need extended studs. These can be purchased pre-installed on front hubs and then you don't need a press or anything else and can just use hand tools to swap out. You'll want to upgrade to ARP studs if you're doing that though because the studs can more easily crack/strip off with a heavier wheel running lower offset. I ordered through jersey built hubs and got an extra 12 ARP studs for the rear axle at the same time even though the stock studs will 'fit' I love the peace of mind of knowing my studs are a higher grade of steel ready to handle anything. If you have to build it might as well 'buy once cry once' and do it right the first time

Someone might mention extended thread lugs. Don't tempt yourself with the ease of swapping out the lugs, it's a cheap fix and likely will end in stripped studs and possibly thousands of dollars more in damage if that wheel caves in and attacks your suspension

I knew someone would say that... Also side note this only buys you a couple MM tops of more thread and nothing more. ARP studs are either a half inch longer or a full inch longer depending on your preference, and are stronger than studs you're removing.

My studs are the perfect length so in my case the extended threads is just for extra threads. When I had spacers before I didn’t cheap out and bought BORA huncentric spacers. I didn’t have any issues with having short studs...

The extended thread lug nuts don't fit into the lug hole in the spacer, so the option I'm going with is a longer lug. The problem is getting a size that fits without a part number. So, the extra 12 ARP studs you got for the rear axle...what was the part number?

I didn't cheap out on spacers either. Fully custom billet aluminum 10mm spacers. I just didn't need a full inch more offset only a few MM to clear my brakes fro. The backside of the wheel. I take it OP is pursuing a similar route to me and not a 12 bolt spacer design like you utilized!

I see makes sense. If there were pix included in this post it would be easier to see what’s going on...

My spacers are 1.25"...and not cheap, lol. They're hubcentric, so the holes for the lugs are snug around the lugs and accept a conical lug nut...but not the extended lug nut one might use on a lugcentric type. If it was a narrow spacer, there wouldn't be a problem, but the seat for the nuts that hold it on are quite thick and take up a lot of lug length.

That’s odd. If they are 1.25” spacers you shouldn’t have any issue. What brand are they? Spidertrax and BORA’s wouldn’t have that issue...

That's weird dude those spacers are supposed to be designed to be direct fit...
@nj636 do you have part numbers for the Tacoma ARP studs on hand?

IMG_20171229_130204145_HDR.jpg IMG_20171229_130216320_HDR.jpg [IMG] [IMG] A couple videos of guys installing these spacers show the same thing; a closeup of the installed spacer on a 3rd gen Taco shows that the lugs don't fill the lug nuts that hold the spacer on completely-they're too short. Took my spacers to 4WheelParts and we measured everything against the Spidertrax and every dimension was identical. They fit perfect on the hubs, the rims I have fit over them perfectly, they're snug against the hub. I just need longer lugs to be able to get more threads into the lug nuts holding the spacers on. And, I like the idea of a strong aftermarket lug so I'm really interested in finding the correct size ARP's

You can see how thick the seats are in the spacer where the lugs that hold them on sit. There's only enough length left on the lug to thread about two thirds of the way into the lug nut. An extra half inch of length would do the trick

Just to be clear, you’re using the black lug nuts on your stock studs and not for the wheels correct? What brand are the spacers? Any links to the vid so I can understand more of what’s going on?

Just went through the question/answer section for the reference and saw some guys said they worked. Good call! I had been going directly to the manufacturer, and of course they wouldn't commit, lol. I went ahead and ordered them. Worst thing that can happen is I have to return them and start over. Thanks for the help, fellows!

Yes, using the black lug nuts that came with the spacers on the factory hub lugs...too short! Anyway, issue resolved. Confirmed the knurl dimensions of the ARP's will fit, the length is right, and they're 12mm 1.50. Thanks again!
(Not sure how to do the link thing...old dog, new tricks and all!)
