Hello everyone! Lurked here several times, but this is my first post & question...

Just spent my cash allowance on the purchase of my 2nd used Taco (Black '06 SR5 access cab 4x4). The interior is immaculate, & I plan to keep it that way until I wear out my dirty ole '96 Taco 4x4 hunting truck (may never happen!). Here's my dilemma... I need some decent seat covers, but since I've used up my allowance I've got to go cheap for now. Any recommendations for a temporary set of seat covers for under $100? I know the better ones are $200 & up, but is there anything above the $30 universal covers that will look halfway decent & last for a little while?

    Thanks!

For when I get in wet, I use washable pads made to protect beds or chairs from incontinence.

Seat never gets damp, much less wet.

Sounds funny, but they meet your criteria of cheap and functional.

Does your 06 have airbags in the seats? I know my 2014 does, but not sure about earlier years. If not then Cabela’s sells some awesome covers for cheap. They are universal, but they have cords on the side that make them fit really well. I had them in my old truck and loved them. The only reason I don’t run them now is the side airbags.

LOL! I do chaplain ministry at several nursing homes, so I may have to ask for their left-over stock of pads... Thanks for the idea!

Welcome to the forums! Aries has a defender series of seat covers that are made for outdoor use (specifically for open jeeps) that are universal fit. They're waterproof and in the price range you are looking for. Definitely worth checking out as theyre cheap and could be a permenant option rather than just temporary.
