Oil change successful also put new atf in for the steering. Couldn't believe how bad the steering fluid was

 

Mines been groaning a lot. With 200k on it I’m beginning to get nervous as to what it might be. My fluid is nasty even though it’s fairly new.

 

Takes quite a bit to flush all the p/s fluid.

Almost have to run it dry.

Just went through this with my wife’s car.

Her fluid looks terrible but is probably 95% new. I’m not sweating it.

Although her pump is definitely going... just don’t tell her.

I figure she has awhile of it “protesting” before it gives up the ghost.

 

Pull the return line off and cycle it through the entire system.
Mines starting to change color again, and I've done this 3 times in 135k.

Did both in wife's runner and my Taco. I used a few quarts on each and kept going about three times each. Also pulled the resevoirs and hosed then out with brake clean. The screen in them was plugged solid. It's like new now.

 

So this beer is delicious.........

 

Looks great. I'll have to try one. I like the blue colors how their like ice flames. The hop flower on the bottom if the label and barley heads on top. Real a nice design.
