Toyota OEM Dashcam

Is anyone using the OEM Toyota dashcam?
If so how much did you pay / provide review!

OEM dashcam? You have the off-road so I assuming you mean the go pro mount on your windshield... If that's the case then it's not a dash cam but many have fabricated a dash cam using that mount.

 

I have one and it works well... I also have a go pro and my wife prefers the OEM because its a bit easier to use (turn it on)!

I think I paid $200 for it

 

Actually the proper Toyota dash cam... I was worried a thread existed about this but I can't find anything.
I'm curious if OEM = better (or just overpriced)

Looks like a street guardian copy.

 

I was hoping that the mount would be powered, but it doesn't seem to be on my truck. I want to install a (non-Toyota) dash cam, would appreciate it if you would post any links that might be helpful in terms of installation details.

 

I asked this very same thing in the Canadian 3d Gen thread. I didn't get any responses from anybody that actually owned the Toyota dash cam. I'm interested in the answers to your questions as well. I am also curious as to how clean the install is.

Could just be a Street Guardian? Toyota isn’t manufacturing these, just slapping their brand name on it like everything else OEM.
