If you wanna go broke in a hurry, try a 3 link SAS. I wanted to commit suicide so many times during the process

:edit: but you have to move to Hawaii first so you can pay thousands and thousand of dollars in shipping everything over :)

BTw, keep that back window clean on the softopper. I rarely wash my truck and that back window turned to a crusty brown piece of plastic within a year. Plus my truck sticks out of my garage a little so when it rains (everyday here), the garage roof drips all over it.

I'll just pay next day air so I can feel your pain

And thanks for the heads up on the window! Motivation to actually wash the truck then

And on the topic of guns, I won this at a local match recently:

It's a locking but somewhat quick access mount made locally by Raptor USA. I have zero use for it except that I did see it as an option to mount somewhere in the truck, possibly the bed. I wouldn't ever trust leaving a firearm being left in my vehicle at all times, but I do see utility in having a rifle locked away with me when I'm traveling in the backcountry. So I may play around with mounting options in the bed. I would however recommend checking the company out, very nice products all around.

Caliraised ditch lights, harness, mounts and switch came in today.

    Pros:
-Simple install. Provided harness allows you to be the deciding factor of how clean you want the end result to be.

    -Bright lights, good coverage.

-Awesome hood brackets, nicely powder coated.

    Cons:
-Terrible light mounts. Finish is awful and the hardware is not great. I have a feeling they'll come loose after a serious off-road venture.

I have no clue on the quality over time. At face value (minus the light mounts themselves) the brackets, lights, harness, and switch seem to be decent though.

Oh I know. I'm already getting some rigid lights. Just saw these and figured at the best of they work out well I throw them on the back of the rack I'll be building or something

I just hate putting bad or shoddy parts on my rigs. I saw some of your firepower, does not look like you cut any corners there brother ! Lol Trucks & Guns take care of them, and they will reciprocate:)

Thanks! I try not too. Was honestly just curious, definitely a "fuck it let's see" buy. Besides the same style rigid lights aren't even that much more

Sub'd so we can both go into financial ruin together - Bought the same truck, same color, 6 Speed, also used, the same day you posted this thread.

    Cheers to bankruptcy my friend!

    Oh and badass truck.

Long time since I’ve posted, been too busy financially ruining my life with firearms. Buuuuut, I built a bed drawer system.

So I put in a 42” drawer. I obviously had more room, so I had this cool idea. I had space enough towards the cab to build a separate section accessible through a top hatch. I recently won a gun locking system made by Raptor USA that was pretty badass. It securely locks the rifle and requires a key to unlock. I used security bolts to bolt it to the truck bed in that compartment. The hatch itself also has a lock on it. I do not by any means intend on using this to keep a firearm in my truck always, but I do like that when I travel I can secure the rifle in a container and locking system that would require a sawzall to free the gun.

Overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I’ve played with Decker systems quite a bit, and they’re obviously a step above this. But it’ll do for now.

Next up is to build a rack over the softtopper, and Kings after that. If I don’t see more shiny gun shit to buy, that is.
