*SOLD* Tacoma 2nd gen camper shell / topper, Made by Vista, Silver Streak Mica *SOLD*

I have my Vista cab-height camper shell for sale. This is for the 6ft long bed Tacoma, so fits standard cab, extra cab, and double cab long bed. In excellent condition. Only paint flaws are one from the factory, where the gel coat wasn't completely smooth prior to paint (almost invisible), and one tiny nick in the middle of the roof out of view (no idea how it got there). Color is Silver Streak Mica, which matched my 2005 perfectly.

Has dark tinted side and back windows, screened sliding side windows, locking (with keys) rear lift door with working gas struts, dome light, carpeted inside, 3rd brake light with wiring and connectors for your truck, with mounting hardware for the Tacoma bed rail system. I converted the hex bolts to eye bolts, making them easier to tighten and also serve as an anchor point for straps or bungees. The edge of the shell where it meets the bed also extends downward, covering the plastic bed caps. And it has a thick foam gasket on the front lip that is normally harder to seal on the Tacoma since it isn't as high as the plastic bed caps. I also have some 12v lights that I could throw in, I always meant to wire them up to the interior dome light power. you will want to get another thin adhesive foam cap seal for around the 3 sides if you want it to be perfect. But no leaks as is.

Not sure how old it is actually, I bought it in 2013 from Craigslist. I suppose you could look it up based on its serial number if you really care?

I really liked this shell. Served me well, worked extremely well. But I moved to an ARE contractor aluminum shell with integrated roof rack, side win-doors with tool box and extra height. Needed the change for my rooftop tent and drawer configuration. This one needs to go. I cleaned it up for the pictures, but it is sitting outside and already has some dust on it...

I also have lots of Tacoma bed accessories for sale, will make other postings... Rubber mat, cargo divider, bed extender with hardware, cargo net, bed cleats, bike mounts, etc. I also have tube steps for the double cab truck that match the silver streak mica paint as well that I can sell in a package. I will list other things in the coming days, and would make a package deal for multiple items.

It is nice and warm here in Chandler... mid 70s and sunny in the day, low of 45 or so at night. You should make a trip!

 

I have a vacation rental place with nobody in it right now... If you make the trip and pay asking price I will put you up for several days no charge... just sayin' ... Maybe you are one of those people that have the rest of this week and next off from work anyway...

 

Someone out there has to want this. I've gotten change color paint quotes of $350 if your truck isn't silver streak... and same price quote for someone else that came and looked at it today (from Craigslist ad). Make me an offer, and if you are close come by in person and haggle me down a bit

like I said, I have a place for you to stay once you are here from a long road trip, backing up to a par3 of the local golf course... with heated pool and all ready to go... I'd give 3 free nights to anyone with some history on TW that pays me asking price and makes the trip.
