I have 30k miles on some 265/75/16 load C. They have tons of tread left. They have never needed rebalanced and are perfectly fine for light off roading and perfect for gravel roads. Still somewhat sporty when I'm running quickly on curvy roads. Wish they made them in 255/85/16, but they don't so that's one reason I'm switching to the ST MAXX.

Mine were done at 28000 miles. So no good reviews here. Nor were they ever great in snow, I live in the mts of colo.

funny. i run ST Maxx in 265/65-17 E and i was considering these AT3's for the next change since I'm mainly highway. but the AT3's only come 265/70, no 265/65 available... dealbreaker!!

Have any of you guys noticed any unusual wear with them?

I put a set on the Daughter's 4runner Sport V8 AWD and they seem to be wearing unusually. I had Toyota replace the shocks on the XREAS and align the front end prior to installing the tires.

In the year since I installed them and about 30k miles, they have less than 1/2 the tread left. I just happened to notice it today, measured them and they have 5/32" on 1 and 6/32" on the other 3. She is religious about getting them rotated and balanced.

I went with the Firestone Destination A/Ts in P265/75R16 on my Tacoma and I am quite happy with them.

I would have went with the Cooper A/T 3 (my first choice) but my local Discount Tire refused to match the price and quite frankly were kinda being a dick about it. Surprising, since I have bought at least a dozen sets of tires for 6+ vehicles in the last 15yrs from them.

To me, tires are tires. I put some AT3's on just shy of 20k miles ago. 265/70/16's. I wanted larger but was concerned about the front tires rubbing. I have no lift and probably never will. (There I go, saying never again). New, the tires seemed wishy washy on pavement but on gravel roads they rode extremely nice. Much nicer than the stock tires that came on the truck. Below is a photo when brand new and a photo I took today with 20K miles on them. It probably won’t be long before I start looking at new tires. Will they be AT3's again? I don’t know yet.

Keep in mind that about 90% of the life of these tires have been on rough logging roads. If I was 90% pavement, there would probably be a lot more tread left.

My AT3 LT265/75/16 load C with 30,000 miles next to my new unmounted ST MAXX. A lot more road miles vs gravel than the photo above.

Like he said. Great wet weather tire with the occasional forest road!

I have had the AT3s in 255/75r17 for a few months. Have had one slice in the tread from a gravel road that was repairable, first slice in 250k truck miles driven. I haven’t seen any change in mpg from the load E Grabbers they replaced. They are quieter on the highway but do not grips as well on cold snow, wet roads or dirt. I will buy something else next time in a load E.
