It is a number I remember from physics, but I didn't catch it at first. But I usually can't remember if it's -273 or -278.

Heat Is related to how fast the atoms of something are moving.

"At the physically impossible-to-reach temperature of zero kelvin, or minus 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 273.15 degrees Celsius), atoms would stop moving. As such, nothing can be colder than absolute zero on the Kelvin scale."

Soap bubbles are fun too. However both require you to be outside LOL.

Wow that is spendy! I might have, may have, at one time, many years ago just used a distillation flask and worm tube condenser to do the same thing. Not as pretty but only $30

    Yep, Lord Kelvin

I knew that heat transfer and fluid flow class in nuclear power school would come in handy some day LOL.

I really chuckle to myself when we're doing something with the waterlines at work or digging ditch for waterline. Someone always comes around and asks why aren't we going deeper to get below the frostline....we don't have a frostline! We just go 18" to keep the vehicles from smashing them.

I've always kept our freezer at 0f, but never really thought about it until reading when we recently bought a new one. Found that you could still have bacteria grow at 15f. And I'm sure there are some somewhere that can grow at lower. I'll have to ask the daughter.

Lisa is out shopping now and going to look at me some new ones. Don't like the clingy, high waisted ones I have now. Looks like Kohl's brand may work.

I like wearing fleece lined jeans as opposed to LJ’s, not as cramped. Being from the great white north I have both.

I heard a party going on lastnight. I shoulda walked over there and had one of them try it. Sounded like they were drunk enough to think it could happen here.
