2017 New Taco Sales

As of November 30, 2017, Toyota has sold 179,419 Tacos in the various trim packages. About 4% over PRTD. Just in case you were wondering.

They better enjoy this decent sales year. The next couple of years r really gonna push Toyota to adapt or possibly have to play catch up.

The competition is gaining momentum, and even though..... The competition may or may not b better than the Tacoma, either way anytime someone buys another brand, that means they aren’t getting the Tacoma.


I feel like if the Colorado and Canyon as one example hadn’t produced (somewhat more up to date models), the Tacoma may have not received the newer tech such as heated seats electronic climate controls etc. that the 3rd gen currently has. They had to compete to keep up good sales. I love my Tacoma, but it’s obvious the other manufacturers (such as Ford) r also honing in on the midsize market.


Again, the product may not b superior to the Taco but sales can still b affected. Hope Toyota realizes they r far from untouchable.
