SoCal TW Member Approved Restaurant List

I know there are a ton of people here on TW that have great eatery spots. I hear talk of places like Tony's little Italy for Chicago Style Pizza, or Umami Burger for a Gourmet Burger.

With this in mind I would like to make a list of TW Member Approved Restaurants for quick reference. Lets post restaurants from San Diego to Ventura. Give us a review, What type of food they serve? Did you like it? Was it dirty? Was the parking good (for meets)?

I will add in the 2nd post a list for quick reference as people suggest them.

Try the Bayou Godfather Po’ Boy. DELICIOUS! Meatballs as big as your fist! Good service. Clean inside. Was on diners, drive ins, and dives. Horrible parking unless you park in a lot across the street that you have to pay for.

Great Hawaiian food. Great breakfast. The R1 is my go to. Big pile of fried rice with 4 different types of diced up meets in it. Yum! I go there when I’m working at Sony Studios. Clean place. New location has horrible parking.

The in laws are regulars and the owner has a couple other restuarants around town, all at different price points. We had them at our wedding reception and people still talk about it to this day.

- Literally the worst location ever. It's on Baseline in San Bernardino. If you can make it past the drug dealers and prostitutes, the sushi is worth it. Just make sure you keep your keys out and be ready to run to your car if needed.

Fine dining for a relatively good price. Good service. Lots of tasty appetizers. Found the filet mignon and salmon tantalizing. Good place for a date after hitting the slopes if one is spending some time in Big Bear.

I'll stay away from larger chains. I try and support mom & pops as much as possible.
