Looks like they're only available in XX.5" rim sizes? That might be a no go for a lot of folks.

You call those military tires? Here's some military tires - unused Michelin XLZ 365/85/20's for your Taco, they will certainly be dinky shrinkers for anyone who sees them on your truck, and they are currently only at $125 for a set of 4: http://www.govplanet.com/for-sale/Parts-Lot-of-(4)-Michelin-XLZ-365/80R20-Tires-Unused-Georgia/892173?h=5000,q|Tires&rr=0.125&hitprm=&pnLink=yes

Sorry, I should have said "they", I was just joking but interesting tires, none the less. As for why you were targeted with the ad? Maybe FAO Schwarz's weekend warrior auto supply mailing list? :)

It's kinda interesting the way the "net" "classifies" one according to what you look for". A month or so ago I was looking up what kind of private jet my Son-in -law was flying for his boss ( he is a private pilot) -- quickly they (net ) had me pegged for wanting to buy/lease a 3-6 million dollar private jet !! RIGHT -- maybe in my dreams!! -- Of course I would have a pilot!!

*HMMWVs. Hummers are for civilians and governators pretending.

You couldn’t pay me to touch those. Everything we got from Albanay was rusted and dry rotted to shit.

    Mostly stuff I built.
“Military” tires are actually a little different. Most will have “OZ” on them. That denotes them as Ozone stable and they are able to have a longer storage life before breaking down and “dry rotting”.

I have personally run several sets of surplus tires both the radial Wranglers and the Wrangler radial MT/R. They do indeed last longer than standard off the shelf consumer tires of the same size. I daily drove a set of them on H1 bead lock wheels on my 2001 Dodge for 65-70,000 miles. Still have that same set of MT/Rs on our farm truck. They wear like iron but I’m not paying $800 each for them when you can still obtain them for $100-200 each new surplus.
