    Not unusual.

I've got an ARB bull bar, XD9000 winch with synthetic line, two PC1400 batteries and bolt-on Mobtown sliders. So about 245 lbs above stock on the front axle. My springs (14", 650 lb/in King coils on 2.5" FOX IFP shocks) sit at approximately 10.5" (3.5" compression) on the driver's and 10.875" (3.125" compression) on passenger. That represents 2,275 lbs on driver and 2,031 lbs on passenger, a difference of 3/8" in preload from right-to-left. That's accounted for in the batteries and fuel tank.

I'm considering getting this set up including the uca. How is the Freedom off Road working out for you? And have you used it off road?

You can’t be going over 3” of lift in the front

You guys are crazy thinking you can get 5” up front without a drop bracket.

That poor tan truck is WAY to high and looks like it’s at full droop.

Thanks on the truck compliment. These will work good for a winch application just crank them up to compensate for the added weight. That's why I put them on to help with winch weight and they are working good.

Do you have yours set for a 3” lift or just a hair higher?

No I have a Rough Country 6" lift but when I added the winch and mount it dropped the front down about an inch and a half so to get the same lift back outta the Rough Country I added these. So maybe an inch and a half maybe two inches? I never measured.

Can someone measure these for me? I need new struts in my first gen and these are about the same price as replacements for me. I'm on a 6" lift with longer struts and read these are longer than standard 1g, but I don't know by how much. Also read the upper perch bolt pattern is different, but I'm sure I can figure out a solution to that.

Right around 20" long. They bolt in the top same as stock. I have a spacer on top of mine due to a 6" lift.

I guess you could call them coilovers, they're spring strut combos.

I get the technicality, but in the last couple decades, "coilover" has started to refer to adjustable spring/shock, spring/strut combos. I'm not trying to start a debate though, I just want to know these might fit my truck.
