finally got pics of cb

    well its been in for a while now, but i just got a camera, so here are the pics of my cb and the mount i kinda-sorta made for the antenna. havent decided on a location for mic yet, still up in the air on that one.

    have the little gray module mounted under driver seat. nice set-up, really like the radio. very clear and weather channels are nice.

    the wire with the blue is an extra ground to the frame (sorry didnt get a pic)

    I like the extra ground you did on the antenna mount. Not a lot of people would bother with that. Good job.

    i didnt really know if the mount was enough ground so i made sure that it got a good one. seems to be now :)

    I have a cobra 40 channel radio with an external PA speaker and a 64 inch whip antenna and i don't have it grounded but it picks up fine, i have it mounted to my tool box, would it work better if i did ground it??

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i have mine installed to my box and its great. i had a ground run to the frame to the mount and i couldnt pick up crap....removed the ground and clear as a bell...dunno why
