I got home from work today at 6pm. I just went to the garage to take trash out and heard a noise coming from the back end of my 2017 4x4 dbl cab sport. So the truck has been parked for 5 hours.

Sounded like a small motor or battery humming. Has any one else noticed this?

Not sure if it is normal. Please help.

It's normal, the fuel evaporator canister is purging. Mentioned in the owners manual, and in the forums.

Ain’t nothing like my wife’s Prius! That thing makes all kinds of weird noises long after it’s shut off, for awhile I thought my garage was possessed until I got up enough liquid courage to find the source of the noises!

Right! I did t know if it was going to catch fire or blow up. I had never heard it before. Kinda of unsettling.
