TPMS, no issue with one wheel at tire shop

Very surprised that my idiot light was the only thing that lit up briefly upon initial start up of my truck after I dropped off a flat repair at the tire shop. Nice, have read here that the TPMS light will stay lit when a wheel is not close by unless I misread the info.

How many miles did you drive it without the 4th tire with TPMS? As I think after 20 or 30 miles the light will come on.

 

Hmmm, dont know, at least 18 miles, trip home then back to town.

Yeah you didn't drive far enough as I do think it's 20 or so

 

Thank you, didn't know that, have not read thru the manual. Two flats in one week. Ran over a softball sized rock the other day coming home from camping. First flat had a small pebble work it's way thru.
