That's why I got a loaded up limited. I needed something 4x4 with heated seats for the winter, and a bed for occasional gardening projects. Or restocking my scrap booking room

 

Scrap booking, is that still a thing?
Or just you?

 

Who are you trying to kid? You won’t even drive that thing in the rain, let alone *gasp* the winter... do you even know if the heated seats work?

 

I wish I had heated seats

 

I do except my driver's one doesn't really work anymore. It'd cost me $30 to fix, but then I have to take the seat out of the truck in a cold garage and actually fix it. Not sure it's worth it.

 

I have them in this Jeep and love them. I just ordered the cold weather package on the new one and it comes with heated seats, mirrors, steering wheel, block heater and factory remote start

I’d love to have a heated steering wheel. That’s the part that gets the coldest. Remote start is nice, but I want a warm steering wheel.

 

That feature is on my one-day automotive list.

 

I would hate to try to add that to a vehicle. It seems like it’d be a colossal pain the ass!

 

I'd love to have heated seats and steering wheel in this weather. Having heated mirrors has been nice though

 

I would be happy with remote start in the work van. It is an ice box till I get to the split in Braintree. I just bought some insulation boards the other day to isolate the rear of it

 

It's not. It is compared to Danbury, but not compared to Newtown and Ridgefield

 

I like the sounds of this. Should make extra lighting easy

 

All of the HD trucks have that as an option (upfitter switches). It’s a great option in my opinion and would make adding extras really easy. I do miss the spare switch blanks I had in the Tacoma. There’s no good spot to add them on the Ford so i’ve left the switches in the glove box. I didn’t want to cut up the dash.

I lime that you can set them to what source and switch type you want and it will stay after cycling the key

 

That’s awesome! I’d like to have that feature built in although it’d pretty much ensure that the vehicle isn’t staying stock for long.
