Does anyone know if I can plug and play a 2017 entune in a 2014 truck with entune?

 

I think you can -- I did some reading before I swapped my 17 entune for a higher grade entune. What I came away with was they are switchable with maybe some connector differences? Also you need the sharkfin type antenna for XM.
My advice do some searches using the word Entune in several different forums and read through the threads on the hits you get. There is a lot of info on this website --sometimes you have to dig and search for it.

Do the 3rd Gens have that issue with the OEM Entune Head Unit turning off and freezing randomly?
If not, I'm listening......

 

There is a TSB that came out in 2016 about problems? Not sure about the details-- maybe someone can look it up for you.
