Great news on the containers! Happy things are going your way. Once that bamboo gets hold you will never see your neighbor again! I have a neighbor that has some on their property line and it is like 40’ high and 10’ thick....just what you need.

I wish I had known about this a month ago, I bought OEM Toyota sensors for my 4Runner (1st gen supercharger), I still haven’t gotten it back together to see if the sensors along with the harness fixed the code.

So, made it to Virginia last night with my sister. Spent the past 4 days in a Hundai Element with a Dalmatian and an 18 year old.

Needless to say, the Joe Rogan Experience podcast saved us. Highly recommend it for those who take long road trips.

This is like the 8th time in my life. It’s not something I enjoy when it’s going to a destination within a period of time. Long drive days, crammed into a car with little space to move. I would like to do it when I have time to visit different cities and sites.

Podcasts saved our asses this time though. In depth conversations that kept our attention for hours at a time.

What part of Virginia? I lived in Charlottesville for a few months this year, nice place.
How many driving hours? Should be ~36 hours, our record from Sd to gulfport, Ms was 27 hours straight through, our average time was probably 29 hours, it's another 14 hours from Gulfport to Charlottesville.

Listening to stuff really helps, as does having cold AC, but what's extremely helpful is having other drivers so you can sleep (If you're driving straight through).
Growing up when we lived in SD twice a year we would drive from SD to Ms. and in all the years and all the trips we stopped overnight or to sleep maybe 3 or 4 times.

OK so Im building another almost 50' of cedar fence to complete most of the run from just above the containers, well Im setting the posts anyway...7 more.

The I also am changing the route of the lower chain link to 50' from the street centerline so I can have a huge yard and clear out all the crap down below (all the dead trees and dead brush which is a massive fire hazzard!

Does anyone know where the best place is to get fencing (chain link supplies)? Seems I will need well over 250' of it plus more poles, tension line, top bar, etc....but then I can build my big ass automatic American Flag fence!!!
Oh and get some doggies, now that my yard isnt really enclosed I have to wait. Hoping to get the chain link done by the end of the month.

So today I will be digging and setting the 4x4s for the cedar since blocking my nosy neighbor's view is very high on the list of things to do. So if anyone is bored you are more than welcome to come dig, lol..

And so I will finally get to start playing with my truck again after all this BS, and then I can really make some hp!

I pulled it out a couple years ago and freshened it up, new larger cam, LS7 lifters, ported and balanced oil pump, honed the cylinders and re clocked the rings, MLS head gaskets, head studs and 243 LS6 heads. Despite all that it burns a little oil and the cylinders didnt look all that great when I had it down to the engine block.

And the LS motors arent really meant to be bored out, so only real option is a new block, I am going to be looking for an LS2 (6.0L) block and go from there, I can use all my old components on it including the cylinder heads.

Then its time for turbo! I'm so used to the power now it seems normal!

Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Anyone local interested in a set of ProEFX fold-out towing mirrors for a 2nd gen? Just sold our camper and the towing mirrors made for a tight fit in the garage with the other vehicle so I'm going back to the stock mirrors.

They're a couple years old and I smacked the passenger side on the garage door a couple times (including a small non-structural crack) but in pretty good shape otherwise. I can send pics if interested. $50 and they're yours.

Roanoke area. I’m not sure of road time we did. We decided that we didn’t want to burn across but once you past New Mexico the drive gets boring so we did 13 hours and then 12 hours. Took 4 days total but we got a late start the first two so it’s all skewed.

Since you have to build a roof you should push them together and have a carport in between. Lol.

Banned? Doug? Did the stuff that caused the banning get removed? I missed that drama!

Remember, he is almost as old as me, so maybe his meds were off or ??? ;)
I may go nuts here... too (just one more A-TRAC question could push me over the edge!!! LOL)!

Gee, he went through so much hell with losing his home and all. There were fundraisers to help him from TW members... Maybe he should be given another chance?
