A new problem for my Tacoma, my keyless entry is acting like it has a mind of it's own. What I mean by this is, I will get out of my truck, lock the truck, walk away, and then as I approach the truck again, the truck will arbitrarily lock or unlock itself without me touching the door handle or key fob. Has anyone else had this issue? I have no idea why it has started doing this, other than there must be some type of malfunction with the keyless entry system.

The keyless entry "learns" your ingress/egress habits, just like the AT "learns" your driving habits? :boink:

Ok, that seemed to work. Thanks again. I was confused, I previously owned a 2010 4Runner, and when the battery started going with that, the truck just wouldn't unlock unless I used the actual key. This was the exact opposite, it seemed to hyper-charge the key fob into getting the truck to lock/unlock. Weird.

It does not, I've had the truck for almost 2 years, you have to be touching the sensors. In this case, it's like the truck was possessed. Anywho, it seems to have been remedied.
