    Want to purchase a 17 Tacoma TRD off road 4x4 manual transmission.
    So far the best out the door price I’ve being given is $36,886 OTD. The sticker price is $36,925
    Is that a good deal?!!!!
    It has bunch of stuff I don’t want performance exhaust trd air filter bed mat d rings trd shift knob etc adds up to extra 2k.
    Even after all that it’s still 36,886 OTD

    With the 2018 out already it might be best to wait. I got my 17’ TRD SPORT DCLB back in June of 17’ for $36,800 out the door with floor Matts, tow package, mud flaps etc. No technology package though.

    If you plan to haul anything you'll want that bed mat and d-rings. Sounds like a fair price to me.

    EDIT: It might help if we knew your state so that OTD costs could be factored in more accurately.

    Honestly doesn’t seem like a bad deal. I didn’t have anything add one performance wise. I have everything you do minus the performance stuff and I was at $36,500 and $36,800 out the door.

    @Rustytaco71 thanks.
    I have another truck I want to trade in already had it appraised and looked at by other dealers and another Toyota dealer still value in it I will use that towards the down payment if that makes sense

    Definitely! If possible I’d strongly advice selling on Craigslist. I went to trade in a 2011 4Runner with 112k miles, SR5 with wheels and tires and a roof rack and they offered me max $14,000. I laughed and walked away. Sold it on Craigslist within a week for $20,500, and that is still on the low end. Went in, put $10,000 down on the Tacoma so now I owe $25,000.

    That's sounds like a pretty good deal if it is true OTD pricing with all taxes, dealers fees, etc.

    A good rule of thumb is that if you’re out the door for right around what the sticker was you did good. Especially in California.

    I got my '17 TRD OR DCLB, which included the tech package and premium sound system for $37K, out-the-door, so pretty close to your price. I don't know how much difference the longer bed and auto versus manual would have made. I guess I'd say that price isn't too bad, but it seems to me you ought to be able to score an '18 for similar money, depending some on your location.

    @JS760 thanks I’m working on having them knock off little more nothing big but something better then nothing.
    @Tacos in Gensokyo thanks not mine yet hopefully by the end of the week!
    @HardCase yea I think so as well but can’t find any manual transmission any where close everything I find Is a 17 only found 2 in city’s nearby. For most part the 17&18 are going for the same price here in Cali at least in my area.
