do you know if that makes them legal to run? I'm pretty positive just running the white LED is illegal, right?

I didn't think white LEDs used as fog lights were illegal. My running lights are LED.

No I mean like the pods specifically, not LEDs specifically. Like light bars aren't legal to run and the pods are just small light bars.

From the amount of light they will put out, they might not technically be legal. But the amber lens would dull them down and make it less obvious

If were me, I would just run the led pods with amber over them. Plead ignorance.

From my short time there, Huntsville cares a lot more about their sound ordinance than lights.

Even with white you probably wouldn’t be as bright as the new 1 ton truck with all the damn HID / LED lights they are throwing on there now.

lawd you are right, those things are awful.

riding in a truck that has 3+ inches of lift and that crap is still blinding it's annoying.

Yup. I had a new Alumi-Duty behind me for about an hour last night. Very blinding.

Any light that is lower than your headlights are technically legal to run. But, they can't be "close" to the same height like a light bar on a bumper. That have to be below the stock headlight. Mine don't have a cutoff on them so the throw is as tall as it is wide. If I can actually spend some money on my 4Runner sometime soon I will be replacing mine fogs with yellow LEDs with cutoffs.

    you're so sweet.

I've just come to realize that if I have any questions regarding my truck...that I can't put them in MY TRUCKS THREAD...because they usually won't get answered.

I'm not one of the popular kids haha

    Aww shucks.

You have two options. Post it in your build thread (nobody follows so it won't get seen) or post it in the Alabama thread (your post will get lost in LC's posts). Either way nobody will see it.

    lmao so true.

or if I give like 2 options for an opinion question, everyone else has their own thoughts and chooses a different option.
