Does anyone know the torque specs on a 20 bolt transmission pan for a 2007 4.0l 5speed pre-runner?

Just did mine yesterday, all I could find was 39in/lbs, my torque wrench wouldn't go that low so I went with 5ft/lbs. The conversation worked out to about 3.2ft/lbs. They definitely don't need to be super tight as the tranny housing is aluminum.

So you did a pan drop, filter/fluid change? How many miles do you have?

I changed only 4qts of ATF, and also changed the filter/screen. 175k and failing fast. Fluid was last flushed ~25k ago, no filter/screen change at that time. I'm currently on the hunt for a replacement transmission. Something is coming uncunted inside.

Yeah, 186k, need too, just not as responsive. Did the magnets seem to collect? Looks like a lot of metal in the pick.

I just did a full flush and filter at 194k. I didn’t have much metal at all besides sludge on the magnets

Magnets where collecting, but the material I found in my pan, looked more like brass, aluminum and worn clutching.

Kinda sorta, it seemed a bit more mannered this morning on my way to work. Ive been getting p2716 code which is the SLT pressure solenoid shorting out. I moreso did the filter and 4qts since I had the pan off for wiring inspection. At this point nothing I do now will save this transmission. It's a ticking time bomb.
