GM also loses Colorado/Canyon sales to the Silverados. And vise versas. Either way, GM led all automakers in truck sales in 2017. Ford was a close 2nd.

Serious question; How come you do not own a GM truck? You have been speaking up about GM's since joining this forum. Do you own a Toyota Tacoma, have you owned a Toyota Tacoma, are you interested in a Toyota Tacoma?

More importantly, are you Smitty in disguise?

I have owned 3 GM trucks and 1 Tacoma. I am in the market for a truck this year and I frequent multiple forums to keep up on the current trucks before I decide which to buy. I have stated several times what I like about the Tacomas. Mainly the manual option and stock stance so I don't have to lift the truck after buying it.

However, this is obviously a forum for a specific truck so it is going to be full of fanboys for 1 brand and they frequently make false statements about their trucks. Sometimes I decide to correct them. Most of the time I move on with my day. Just depends if I feel like dealing with the crap storm that is bound to follow after to invading the safe spaces of the Tacoma fans lol.

I saw an interesting article on the top selling vehicles by state, for 2016. Surprising differences. Though the F Series trucks are the best sellers overall as well as in most states, other states’ #1’s include Ford Escape, Subaru Outback (in 3 states), RAV4, CRV, Nissan Rogue, and in Hawaii, the Tacoma was the #1 selling vehicle in 2016.

He was one of the main reasons I stopped coming on this site. Even having him ignored, he still derailed every single thread I wanted to read.

    Full of fanboys? Imagine that.
False statements? Every forum does that.
You didn't "correct" anything. You made an observation.
Smug and superior attitude will go a long way on any forum bro.

Why do Colorado’s outsell Canyons nearly 3:1 if they’re almost the same truck?

Only reason you see a guy driving a Ridge Line is because he told his wife he wanted a Tacoma and she doesn't like trucks but she allowed
him to get a Ridge Line because it reminds her of the family Odyssey. :) :)

I like the gmc and almost got one. I then saw it was similar in price to the Tacoma. I trust Toyota quality more too

I agree 110%. My neighbor has a Ridgeline for pretty much that reason. I have ridden in it--it is not a truck...

I have two coworkers who have 2016 Colorado’s. Both like their rigs and both haven’t really had issues. One did have to have his head unit reset, but that was it.

With that being said, I couldn’t bring myself around to getting one. I have 250k on my 1st gen Taco and was pretty much set on the 3rd gen from the get go. Even with my rear diff howling I still love this rig and have faith it will last longer than the Colorado (knocks on wood ha).

Facts are different from opinions. I didn't correct anyone's opinion. If someone says "i think the Tacoma is better than the Colorado." I don't care. If they say "the Tacoma is more reliable." Then I will correct them. As long as we are talking current gen comparisons.
