I use 3 and 5 gallon buckets I get from the bakery at the grocery store and put 'Gamma Lids' on them for easy opening and sealing from water and critters. I have a bunch of them.
I also purchased some 'Vittles Vault', pet food containers. I got the small size, they fit under my platform, and they also have the screw on/off lid.

And someone told me about the 'U Line' buckets with screw on/off lids.

What do you use buckets for? They seem like they would have less space utilization compared to more square/rectangular items?

What a cool utillitarian setup! I have already been considering makeing a tailgate skin i think you made my mind up  If you would like to save a little weight and space look at the Hasika awning it's made to fit rt over the rear opening of your cap. Only weighs a couple of pounds and breaks down into a small carry bag

True, and a good point. The cardboard boxes I use are square.
The Gamma Lid buckets are secure from water damage and critters, so I can put food stuff in them and leave them on a table in camp.
This last year I got 2 of the Vittles Vault, and they are square.
All of them fit through the windoor so I can put them on the platform and close the windoor for added safety.

I went back through and read this again. I'm working out of the back of a micro off road camper instead of the dop down table off the swingout I have about a 4' drawer I've already modified to give more functional work space

I like to keep everything concise and uncluttered under the awning as possible. The way the awning drops down on the sides it gives great protection but when it rains I just take a pole section out and lower the outside quick and easy but I like to keep that area where it's easy to move through. When I'm not cooking though the cooking area I can just fold it shut and slide it back into the camper and it opens up the space. We have the one table and got a small set of shelves but I'm thinking another table may just function better. I found the one I posted earlier I thought it may lend more versatillity with there being shelves underneith and yet it folds up compact. You can see in these pics like I posted earlier it's just like it needs something different

It is the Grand Canyon, actually I believe this section is known as 'Marble Canyon'. I believe this is on Indian land, so I'm not going to give out exact location, I was on a photography workshop where all the permissions/authorizations/etc were worked out by the guy leading the workshop, so I'm not sure exactly what's needed be allowed out there. All I can say is that the tailgate was within about 10 ft from a couple thousand foot vertical drop.

It actually went really well. Never got cold. Slept in a long sleeve shirt, beanie, and jeans. I would suggest really good pad. I've used cheap ones that allow the cold to seep in from below while you're sleeping and had plastic ones crack because of the cold.

I wanted to say that, or Canyonlands, but it was a bit shallower than the GC I usually see. I have only been up that way once on the south rim, and never that far east on the north rim.

    Nice.

Thanx and yupp jig saw and grinder with flap wheel is what I used. Also a 3/4” drill bit to do the notch where the tailgate clapse are on each side. Cleaned/smoothed those edges with a dremel. Tracing was easier than I even expected.. just remove the stock fiberglass skin and trace it out with a sharpie. Here’s a couple more pics..

Thanx and no worries I like my ez-up. It actually fits perfectly in my Thule cargo box. Your setup looks good

I like the molle panel on the side of the fridge. That's an awesome idea. Where did you find that? Or did you make it?

It’s a Blue Ridge Overland Gear panel. The one they designed for the front of a cooler. I can’t find the link on the site right now to send ya.. not sure if it’s an old product no longer made.

I actually have them on both sides, the other side having the BROG cooking bag for utensils and such. Next plan is to remove them off the fridge so I could make a box around the fridge. Want to bungee down my camp stove on top similar to this vvv and I’ll probably put the panel back on the outside of the steel box.
