Does anyone have a link for the oem block heater? My google skillz keep giving me the same result of one with no instructions provided. It's not clear if it's oem or not either.
    Thanks in advance!

Yep, found that one on two sights, you using it or is anyone?
I was thinking about calling a dealer in Canada and having them ship me one but if this is it why bother.

Yep I have it installed. It works. I would prefer more wattage for the 4.0L, but it does it's job and helps in subzero temps.

I found the oem heater on ebay for 50 shipped a year or so ago (iirc). Obviously its a ymmv situation, but still a good price and trdparts4u is reliable with fast shipping. I paired mine up with a small heater that i attached to the transmission (6MT) to heat it up a little on the coldest days.

here's the one I have, I think it works great..... I hooked it up to a timer to turn on 3 hours before I leave for work.....no hesitation at start up and let engine run for approx 2 minutes before heading out. As I am pulling out of the driveway the temp gage is just passing the lowest line....

Ha, you are as bad as me. I did the OEM block heater and not one, but two Wolvering heating pads on the oil pan.

I tried to get a heating pad on the oil pan,but the one i ordered was too large. So to the tranny it went. Was good use there too.

The oil pan is a drag because it has those two vertical valleys on each side. I had to replace the pan cuz it got crunched but took the new one and filled the valleys with their steel stick and then sanded flat so the heating pads would have a suitable flat surface.

Hint: don’t use the words dildo and insert in a google search. Well at least not when you’re at work
