Anyone have this dual USB charging port behind center console?

    Just noticed there is a dual USB charging port behind the center console for passengers sitting in the back. Does anyone else have this in their Tacoma?

    I tested it out but doesn't seem to be charging, not sure if there is a fuse for this outlet that might be blown or if it is tied into one of the other two outlet fuses? Read through the manual but found nothing on that USB charging port. Any help would be appreciated!

    I installed one of my own, but no, my 2017 didn't come with one.
    I heard some dealers in the gulf states had that as an add-on option. Maybe it's not wired right? Maybe they wired it to your inverter? What if you turn on your bed outlet?

    My truck doesn't have the bed outlet. I might have to just open one of the sides and see if I can tell where it's wired to. That's pretty weird. Maybe it's just for show and just the dang outlet itself lol

    I have this. It came with my truck. Further, unlike the USB above the AUX input, these two charge my phone properly. I guess the one up front is only for inputting data to the system.

    The one on the dash is low current. Something like .75 amps or .5 amps vs a fast charger at 2 amps.

    OP, does it work with the trucks power turned on or have you only tried it with the truck off?

    I did see a video of a dealership installing one of these in about the same location in a Corolla or something. It may be added by the factory or something the dealership frequently does to help sell cars.

    New. Bought it of the showroom floor with 6 miles on it. I will have to dig out my window sticker. It is on there somewhere.
