ScanGuage II transmission temp code for 2010

Anyone have this info? Greatly appreciate it.

I was just there. They now also support TPMS pressure and tire temperature.

Which they'd have a variant that would disable the system and shut off the light for you.

I know, I know, they only read outputs, not give inputs. But I'm just sayin'...............

 

depends on version # of your scan guage wether its available or not . If your scan guage is old , needs to be updated to view trans temps .

 

Yes, version requirements are included on the website for the various X functions. I updated both of mine last year, but unfortunately didn't glean any new options for my '04 Highlander.

However I now have both pan and converter temps for my '13 auto. I wasn't too worried about it as I don't tow or drive mountains, but it is interesting to see the real numbers, and how they coorelate to weather, engine load and engine coolant temps.

 

How do you tell the dif between transmission pan and converter temps? Also which one do I use when checking trans fluid level...or does it matter?
