I have one of the last 2017's built at Mexico before the line switched to 2018. Just got it 2 months ago.

I had to special order it as there were no Inferno SR5, 6 cylinder, 4x4, dbl cab, long beds anywhere.

I am a life long Toyota user. Never had anything else.

My issue is the rough feel of the gas pedal. It is like a "growl" felt through the pedal. Is this normal?

    Welcome to TW!

Can you elaborate on a ""growl" felt through the pedal"? Growl to me is a sound. A Vibration would be something felt.

My SR5 DCLB was built in October 2017, same plant and likely close to the same time as yours. In the 700 miles on the truck, I haven't really noticed anything with the gas pedal described in your post.

Is your boot/shoe/ballet flat hitting the tunnel side panel? Sometimes this transmits vibration that people think comes from the fuel pedal.

It is definitely a vibrabration. Especially when accelerating.

Are you supposed to feel the engine that rough through the gas pedal on a Taco?
