What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I used kindoff spring nuts & cut the spring off.

 

I’ve got unistrut nuts I’ve used, but making a Lowe’s run tomorrow and thought I’d pick up some, just to have options.

 

I ripped mine on a rock once. It was only a month old! I was aired down to 15psi.


I had to shove a few tire plugs into it to get off the steep hill I was on.

 

I can tell you why I chose it


Up to 8 different Gauges per page and you can have transmission oil temperature at the pan or torque convertor.

 

Where's the "not looking forward to this" button?

 

Right next to the "glad this is behind me" button.

 

Do you not have one or is not working? Mine was broke but it was an easy fix to re-solder one of the resisters.

 

I haven’t tried it but I believe you need to take the roller wheels off to slide the drawer out. In the instructions it said to put the drawer in before installing the wheels. I am guessing that those wheels need to come off first. But like I said I haven’t tried to remove the drawer yet.

 

I made it and it is attached to a bed stiffener. Basically it is a Long bolt and several washers and nuts wrapped with heat shrink.

 

Finished install LED turn signals behind/in the side mirrors... Will post more pics later.

 

Did you check the pressure in your spare tire? There's a sensor in the spare as well, so it could be low on pressure.

 

Installed my kings and TC uppers now just have to adjust them a little and get an alignment

I did the same when I bought mine, I told the dealer to remove all decals and insignia. The grill was not an option due to the price but I can live with that one Toyota symbol.

 

I debadged mine with a heat gun and tooth floss. You could plasti dip the insignia on the front or fill it in with epoxy. But no red plasti dip or you may end up looking like Rudolph.

 

UPS delivered these today. Now, just have to wait for some time on my buddy's lift!
