Not sure about price, but was in a Maryland dealership the other day and the only PRO they had was already sold to someone in Alaska, they were having it transported up there. Not many to go around I guess...

True. And there are others that can afford to pay cash for one but won't overpay.

I bought my Off Road cash. I was ready to buy a Pro cash for the right price. Wasn't about to pay 1 cent over MSRP. IMO, they're not worth it. Especially once you add almost 10% sales tax to the premium the dealers are adding over MSRP. Ridiculous.

And if we're talking about affording a car... If you have to finance a vehicle, you technically can't afford it. Most people don't think this way but it's reality.

I guess some people have more dollars than sense.

I look at financing like this: I'm earning more in the bank than the 2.9% I'm paying. Let my money work for me instead of putting it in a depreciating asset.

Please tell me which bank is paying more than 2.9% interest. Really. I seriously want to know because I will open an account tomorrow.

Saw this the other day while waiting for my 25,000 mile tire fondling, and windshield wiper fluid refill

DB salesman snuck up on me while I was looking at it
    Salesman: beautiful truck isn't it
Me: sure is, way overpriced though, good luck finding someone dumb enough to pay that much
Salesman: speechlessly creeps back to his desk

    $56,766 is beyond ridiculous
(well over $60,000 by the time you add tax title license)

I only got to see 1 Cement Pro, it arrived with my Truck on the transporter and my Dealer said the only reason they got it was because another Dealer went out of business and a Customer already paid for it.

Figure of speech. Savings don't pay that much, but investments far exceed 2.9%

I found Carlsbad to be total jerks. The internet department quoted me MSRP, but would have to get on a list. When I went to put my deposit down to get on the list, they wouldn’t take it and they had three pros on the lot. Turns out it was the best thing that could have happened. I started calling every dealer in so-cal asking for a blue Pro at MSRP. 7-8 dealers later, I called frank toyota and the had one on the way that wasn’t claimed and they don’t do dealer mark ups. It was part luck, part effort and part a legitimate dealer in so-cal. Can’t say enough good things about Frank Toyota in national city.

    Like, so many.
No. They are closer in the line to the Sport than the OR or Pro.

Up here you might as well slap on a set of SCS wheels while your at it. Then it could be like a Sasquatch or other folklore/legends that many speak of but few have seen.
