Hey guys ! I recently got a 52" straight light bar for my double cab tacoma . I don't want to drill in the top of the cab to mount it but I can't seem to find any door mounts for a 52" straight bar . So would 50" mounts work ? or does anyone have links to some mounts that would work? Thanks !

I saw someone else posted that the mounts they bought were actually designed wider than advertised. I received a 52" curved bar as a Christmas gift and I'm looking for windshield mounts as well. I visited the local 4 Wheel Parts store yesterday and it was suggested that I modify mounts as needed. And that a 40" bar is easier to mount. Good luck, and keep me posted as to what you find.

I'm in a similar boat. I'm working with a fabricator to get them made. They will go in the roof mounting spots.

Billies and Eibachs, Camburg BJ UCAs, Demello hybrid sliders SOS HC rear bumper, SOS front bumper, Warn M80000, fully armored, Safari snorkel, No-slip locker, diff breather, bumper and roof mounted light bars, onboard Viair, 275/70 17 BFG ATs, and a badass sound system.
If you have a DC you don't need to drill into the cab. It's already got threaded holes for a factory roof rack. You'll need to trim the rubber moulding in the roof gutters. I just took my light bar off and will have some brackets, wiring harness with relay, and push button switch up for sale if anyone's interested.

Yes, if it's a DC for an AC you'll have to drill the holes. They're MCM Fab mounts of you wanna check em out.

that is exactly who I'm working with to get mine made. Matthew asked for the dimensions of my bar so he is going to make a one-off set of brackets for me. Talked to him recently and he's been pretty slammed with suspension orders.

I have a 50" baja designs s8. Apparently it runs a little wider and that is the reason for me going custom. I'm sure you could make the ones that mount on the roof work (GG, MCM), but they may need some tweaking. I also want custom brackets because my bar is so narrow. I want it to sit flush with roof as possible and not look lost in space.

mannnnn this blows haha , you think I'd be any simpler to mount it to a roof rack and then just mount the rack?

Probably not since racks are even narrower. The fastest way would be to order the mcm or gg brackets and just bend them out a bit.
