2015 LED Headlight install trouble

I'm Upgrading to the h4 cougar LED lights, and when removing the old bulb, I had to remove a rubber gasket. The gasket does not fit over the new LED bulb. Do I need to modify the gasket or do i go without it? I don't want condensation in my lights... Anyone have recommendations?

First off running LEDs in your halogen reflectors is a poor idea. You’ll have reduced output and significant scatter.

Secondly, many LEDs require you to modify your headlight boots (rubber gasket) or run without them. Both will lead to condensation in the lenses.
