I’ve actually been watching for that since day one and have never seen any evidence of a leak... hopefully I won’t have to worry about it soon.

trying to find the rear shocks i want lol. need 12 or 14 inch travel shocks. my billie 5125's are ok but if i upgrade the coil overs might as well upgrade the rear shocks. i want remote reservoirs on the coil overs and rear shocks

Thanks guys, although I should report that I have very slight dings in the RR's from my UCA's touching them under max compression due to some spirited driving last week. I couldn't really cycle the suspension with the reservoirs in place but with the coilovers removed, so I didn't realize how close the UCA's get to them. Under normal circumstances they're fine, but when the superbumps are totally maxed out the control arms just barely graze them.

 

That's something that I been thinking about where to put the RR's. I doubt I'll cycle my suspension to need them but when I sit and look at the list of mine. I just say to myself "why not get them regardless. If anything they'll make the truck way cooler and if I go somewhere where I need them I have them"

 

There is no way you need 14s. Cycle your leaf pack

 

Why do you need 12" or 14" shocks for leafs that cycle 10" or less?

my leaf pack is the all pro expo's lol but monte 14's are cooler then original

You won't fit any longer than 10" 2.5"s under the bed. Maybe 12"s if you get the shortest shock possible and angle them way back.

Won't fit outside the frame on the stock axle.


I beat on my rig harder than most on here, and have been very pleased with my 10x2.5" King RRs in the back. I would carefully evaluate what you do with your rig before putting in that much effort.

 

i did a u-bolt flip kit and welded on new shock mounts to the axle. i'll do some measurements and do a double check but the shocks i have are 12" now that i think about it..... i dont have bump stops lol

 

It doesn't matter if your only hitting the speed bumps at the mall.
