It would be mid morning if we go. We may end up at Brown Mountain instead, the wife wants a beer at Catawba.

Pisgah on a Hardtail with 100mm up front and flats? Braver than I am!

I'm sure there are better trails out there than there are near me. It shouldn't be that bad, plus it cost nothing, if it gets trashed, no loss. And with 3 kids In private school and Chritmas around the corner I wasn't wanting to spend much.

Haha, no I wouldnt worry about the bike, I would worry about getting home in one piece! I rode Slickrock and Black Mountain last time I was there and they pushed both my bike and my skill level to the limit. It's a blast though.

I'm not worried about me. I'll order the bike I really want at tax time.

If you ever want to ride in town let me know, I always benefit from riding with people better and faster than I am.

I'm sure I'm not better or faster but I do try to push myself.

Before full squish was part of my life, I rode farlow gap on a similarly equipped bike. Not fast or pretty, but certainly fun!

So is Richland rd still an option for trail riding? Hoping to go up there in a month or two.

Should be just take it easy don't go bomber and I wouldn't go with more than a truck or 2. If the law is parked like the pic when you go I would consider not running it just to keep from getting harassed.

Anyone had any recent trips out here? I haven't been in a while. Just wondering if it was an option for an early morning cruise tomorrow morning. Or Hurricane creek ???
