Millions of ecoboost on the road not even counting the 6.7s in the Superdutys... but please speak of this common turbo fail.

I have a friend that's a service writer for ford. His words, don't by an eco edit: boost anything.

Or anything ford with the dual clutch auto.

The rear end is the worst part, but overall the design is nice. Much better than what GM came up with.

Speaking of GM has anyone seen that new Silverado:puke:

That is one ugly truck! How anyone can like it is beyond me!? Looks exactly like the Honda Ridgeline! No thanks I’ll pass. I have a 3rd gen and love it so far no real complaints. Sure a little more power would be nice at the get go but I didn’t buy the Tacoma for speed!

You're okay with the motor issue? My coworker traded his in ASAP and the resale values of the RS are taking a fat dump because of it.

Its not bad. I'm sure it will take sales away from the Tacoma, especially for contractor/work trucks. Hopefully this will force some dealers to discount the Tacoma a little more..haha.

I dont care how you look at it, the Ranger looks fucking soft. Now that ecoboost engine and gear box, is straight up going to shit on this 3rd gen power train. Not even comparable, and then throw a tune on top of it? Game over. Only thing you can hope for is for the Ranger to fall apart.

I drove two rangers over 12 years, and honestly, they were very dependable. Terrible riding off-road due to the suspension set up, but never let me down, so I can’t say anything bad about them in regards to reliability.

The company I work for bought it’s first V6 F150 eco-boost this year. It had a turbo failure in the first two weeks and then “went away” for a few weeks to be repaired. It came back and has been fine since. The turbos are not beyond having issues.
