I wrecked my 17 trd sport a couple days ago. T-boned a car that tried to cross the road in front of me on a highway without looking. I walked away with some soreness and bruising. The safety features on these trucks are solid.20180109_160134.jpg

The other car was an old Lexus something or another car. I was going a bit under the speed limit... Probably around 50. Her car was pretty beat up. Broken rear axle, her speakers were knocked out the back window. Accident was her fault. She pulled out right in front of me trying to turn left across a major highway. She couldn't even see oncoming traffic and went anyway. So close I never got to hit my brakes.

    Wow!
    That’s a pretty big impact.
    Did your airbag deploy?

Wow does that ever suck, glad you did not suffer any real serious injuries. I rarely ever turn left across traffic, usually travel down to the next intersection with a light.

She decided to roll the dice when her view of oncoming traffic was obstructed instead of waiting foe the truck blocking her view to move. It is what it is. It's what insurance is for.

Yeah, a bunch of them deployed. It was like being in a bubble. The airbags stopped me from being hurt at all.

Cheers to walking away Bro. As far as I can tell these trucks are doing a great job at cocooning the passengers during GNARLY wrecks.

wow. Thats an impressive one to walk out of. Im surprised how the front end handled. I would have guessed that bull bar would have gone right through the radiator but from what i can see in the picture it doesnt even look like the radiator sustained damage.
