South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

Afternoon y’all happy Sunday fun day!

Of course I replied to the wrong thread...

 

Team Effort. It was supposed to just be a little exploring for campsites and turned into something hugemongous!

 

So after not being able to squeeze under that tree I think I’m gonna drop my tent down lower on the bed and switch up my set up.

So how are the SOS bars for holding up a tent?

 

I believe @JimboAnz has them for his RTT; seem to work well!

 

So how did it look for campsites?

 

I think we came across only 1 large campsite. Right at the river. The water was up pretty high and quite frankly.....was pretty loud. There as another single campsite off to the side.
Honestly, if I'm camping and ready to chill, I wouldn't want to be next to some Yahoo's drinking and carrying on.
2 guys and there dogs were set up in tents on our way back. It was pretty much an open area.

 

Mine are the mid height, the std height are like 4” lower. They hold the tent fine

 

Then an order to Eddy might be in place soon.

 

Appeared as if the dogs had a nice tent...

 

Exactly what I was thinking.

 

I have the SOS rack on mine, may be a custom height. Not positive. I (usually) get plenty of bed clearance and the RTT sits close to the cab height, just a little higher to the point it makes a good parachute.

 

Eric. I think I've only made two stock style bedracks. They're all pretty much custom design.

If anyone knows a "young" welder looking for a job or someone that wants to work in a Fab shop let me know.
