Just replaced stock tweeters with the kickers. Took all of 30 minutes. Thanks for the walkthrough!

Already thinkin’ About a powered sub though....Never Satisfied

Any suggestions on a plug n play tweeter for a 2014? Everything I’m seeing on crutchfield says I need to hot glue them into place.

Yep! I'm in for about the same aftermarket.... the wife has had the "is THIS enough!" discussion a couple of times but then the mods I make she really enjoys! Luckily she's now driving a CRV that has their premium sound/sub and hated the way my truck sounded. After the upgrade, my Taco sounds every bit as nice and clear as that setup!

Just finished installing the speakers! Way easier then I thought! Anyone can do this install don’t waste your time going to a shop! The hardest part was getting those damn door covers off ha ha! Just follow the video and you should be able to figure it out. As for sound I really haven’t tested them out fully but looking forward to getting more time on them!

Reminder - Bluetooth/CD/Flash Drive audio quality are far superior vs. XM or FM on your head unit.

Speakers and tweeters installed, I have a stock SR head unit and just bought a pioneer Avh-2330 NEX... you think this will greatly improve sound over stock head unit?

    Howdy y'all.

Time to install tweeters? Maybe 20 minutes.
Time spent sitting in my truck listening to everying in my phone? Closer to an hour.

Sooooo, anyone interested in some slightly used tweeters?

I’ve been on the fence about replacing the the door speakers with the kickers and have had them in my “cart” at crutchfield for a week. Just went and looked again....looks like the current sale ends today. So if you’re gonna do it, do it today! FYI.

Crutchfield has been amazing. I ordered a stereo for my wife's car and had a few questions, their tech support is fantastic. Then I thought I was missing an adapter harness so called in and they sent me another at no charge. Later that night I found out my 2 yr old daughter stuck the harness inside the exposed gap in the dash while I was getting some tools. Found a couple other toys in there too

I'll be ordering more from Crutchfield

Yes. It'll give you much more control over and it should have more power as well (although I can't verify the last part). But just the lack of frustration alone is totally worth it! lol Entunes sucks

might be a dumb question, but isn't the door speaker for lows and the highs come from the dash wired like a component set

so why run a 3 way speaker in the door?

Speakers are extremely easy, trust me. Just give them a good pull down near the speaker and once you get one clip out, you just pull the rest out. I've taken off my door panels 10+ times now. It takes literally 30 seconds for me now once you know just to give it a quick pull and not be scared about it.

Anyways, got my all my speakers and sub installed now! She sounds good.

Which adapter ended up working? I just ordered these speakers of Amazon, but like most have said, they don't come with adapters.
