Outside of the normal ideas. I have a couple of mounts and will be ordering a few more (roll bar mount for sliders, suction cup for the windshield).

I am actually looking to see what ya'll have used / where you have mounted your GoPro for either:

-Off roading. I see some great videos out there that show the tire(s) actually putting in work on the trail. Or perhaps watching the coilovers do their thing while on the trail. I have the water-proof cases for it. It'd be fairly cool to record a water crossing and submerge the GoPro.

-Troubleshooting. I have that drive-line vibration thing. I think the GoPro could come in handy if I could mount it somewhere to monitor the D.S. Support Bearing during a drive. Or perhaps the front suspension components. It'd be cool to capture that footage. Might see that something is wrong with a completely different component.

I did perform a search. I may have missed it. If there is an existing thread, please post it up and I will continue my research.

Get a third gen duuuuude, they have to go pro mount built in

I see a lot of people using the suction cup mounts and those seem to work well, but I don’t have a go pro so that’s all I can contribute.

The stickies work well on the
The sticky ones hold well on the frame? Guess I underestimated them. I have a couple but didn't think they would hold well.

Thanks though. Gonna give the sticky ones a shot.

I use one of these under the truck on the frame. Just need a gopro mount with a 1/4-20 female hole and a short allen bolt and washer. I'll post a pic.

I've used it on painted body panels with about 4 layers of good paper towel under it.

And the magnet holds up during aggressive off roading? Wash-board roads and such? Damn.

It takes 2 hands to pull it off. Unless you slide it off an edge. I still always put a tether on it just in case.

    You Sir.... are awesome!

Picked up the HW today. Gonna try to use this to investigate the shaking I get at 65-70MPH.

I hooked one of those up for a quick ride. I clamped it to the rock sliders. The flexible portion of the arm was a little to bouncy for me. I'm going to be using it to watch the front steering/suspension components at 65-75MPH. See if I can determine what.the.flying.F*** is shaking <insert some Sam Kinison here>.
