Anyone have any experience with CD player phone mounts?

Don’t want to spend $50+ on a mount and the CD player in my 2018 Tacoma seems like the perfect spot.

Any damage with use? Lmk!

 

I bought one, but ended up returning it. I had a heavy case and didn't like knowing that it can damage the city opening.

 

I bought one. The screw to tighten it obstructs view of the entune unit which I found annoying. Bought an un-holley unit from Hondo Garage and will use the mount that attached to cd ball mount in that. Hoping it works. If not I’ll be placing another order with them... the cd mount was $4 on eBay so I’m
Hoping it does. Way cheaper then the other option. I’ll let you know once it comes in.

***so the CD player mount must be like a .5 or .75” ball. Not going to happen. Hondo contacted....I looked briefly into other options but it’d only be about $20 cheaper to get non Hondo and I’d rather just pay it and get the quality.
